What's a first session usually like?
When you reach out for the first time, here's how we get started: what happens, how long it lasts, what to bring.

The first session isn't therapy proper just yet. It's an exploratory conversation: I listen, get a sense of what you're bringing, explain how I work, and together we decide if it makes sense to start a process.
It lasts between 50 minutes and an hour. You don't need to come with anything prepared — no summary of your history, no diagnosis, no clear idea of what you want to work on. Just showing up is enough.
