The process
Rhythm, depth and method
In the first session, we conduct a clinical interview. This allows me to explore the different facets that make up your experience; it gives you a chance to get to know my pace and style, and gives me insight into your perspective of the world.
Together we build a safe space to embrace, unravel and process your reason for seeking therapy, finding its emotional roots. Throughout, I track your body's physiological responses, which point me to the unconscious memories that shape the patterns and beliefs we'll gradually deconstruct.
Sessions are typically biweekly, lasting 50 minutes to one hour. We can work interchangeably online or in person at my office in Colonia Napoles, Mexico City.
Evolution
What changes as the process unfolds
Slowing down and listening
You learn to settle into a slower rhythm that makes inner listening possible. You'll be able to answer more easily: what do I feel in my body? The foundation is always stabilization through a sense of safety in the present moment.
From urgency to strategy
You reach a feeling of stability more quickly. We'll develop tools to reduce the rush and anxiety, and we'll recognize the patterns that sustain your pain or confusion. Urgency gives way to curiosity.
Self-knowledge as transformation
Problems become a doorway to self-knowledge. You recognize your inner strengths and manage stress more effectively. Your tolerance for frustration grows, and so does your confidence and connection with life.
Your first session
Step by step
Send me a message on WhatsApp. My assistant will answer any questions about scheduling and payments. You'll receive a confirmation 48 hours before your session.
The first session is a mutual interview: you ask any questions you need, and I explain how I work. Together we define your therapeutic goals.
The first 3 to 6 sessions are an adjustment period: we calibrate comfort and depth.
If we decide to continue, we schedule in two-month blocks with clear goals and constantly review progress.

How I work in session
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
A trauma-aware therapeutic model. It pays attention to your nervous system responses to help you regulate what your body holds, respecting the rhythm your physical experience sets for us. ![]()

Works with the different "parts" that coexist within you. It helps integrate conflicting inner voices without silencing any of them. ![]()
